It is with profound joy and reverence that the Executive Bishop's Council of the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World agreed to a transformative moment in our global outreach. We formally declare the official approval for the formalization of the Pakistan Mission Territory as a full-fledged Diocese within the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World.
In recognition of his unwavering dedication and exemplary leadership, the Executive Bishop's Council has also unanimously approved the elevation of Suffragan Bishop Phillip N. Johnson to the esteemed office of Diocesan Bishop. Bishop Johnson will now serve as the Diocesan Bishop over this newly established and vital diocese, guiding its spiritual growth and administrative functions.
This momentous decision marks a landmark achievement in the history of the PAW's global mission work. It is a testament to years of faithful ministry, profound sacrifice, and the flourishing spiritual growth witnessed across Pakistan. This formalization underscores our commitment to nurturing the vibrant community of believers and expanding the reach of the Gospel in the region.
