For the Gospel's Sake
Pakistan Missions Report — February 2026 — Pentecostal Assemblies of the World in Pakistan
"And this I do for the gospel's sake…" — 1 Corinthians 9:23
Ten days. Multiple cities. Hundreds of souls. This is the story of what God did in Pakistan — and why we go.
Mission Overview
A Journey Across Pakistan
From the shores of the Arabian Sea to the historic soil of Sialkot, this missions journey carried the gospel across some of the most spiritually hungry regions in the world. We traveled through Karachi, Interior Sindh, Balochistan, Lahore, Gujranwala, Sheikhupura, Sialkot, Okara, and remote villages in between — meeting politicians, business owners, pastors, and the deeply impoverished alike.

Day 1 — Karachi
Arrival & The First Day
28 Hours of Travel
From Sunday's home pulpits to Tuesday's arrival — preaching, traveling across time zones, arriving in Karachi at 7:00 a.m. with no sleep, only purpose.
The Schedule Began Immediately
After a brief check-in, the missionary schedule launched without pause. We visited two churches preparing to join the PAW, met leadership teams over samosas and tea, and reconnected face-to-face with beloved Saturday Bible class students — people we had shared fellowship with online for nearly a year and a half. To finally see their faces in person was a deeply personal joy.
Day 1 — Karachi Crusade
"Your Soul Is Too Precious to Lose"
That first night, nearly 300 people gathered for an outdoor crusade. The Lord gave the message — and the altar overflowed. People came to be baptized in Jesus' name. They returned again and again for prayer. The service did not conclude until 11:30 p.m.
Afterward, food had been prepared at a pastor's home. Though exhausted and not hungry, we sat and ate — to honor their love and sacrifice. We stopped to pray over a home on the way out. Then another home. Families. Couples. By 2:00 a.m. we finally laid down — only to rise four hours later to do it all again.

This is missions. Yes, this is sacrifice. And this we do for the gospel's sake.
Day 1 — Karachi Crusade
Witnessing the First Harvest
The Lord moved mightily on our first night in Karachi. Hundreds gathered under the open sky, eager to hear the message of hope. The atmosphere was charged with expectation as people responded to the call, stepping forward to dedicate their lives to Christ and experience the power of the Holy Spirit. These moments captured the raw and profound spiritual hunger of the people.
Day 2 — Interior Sindh
Into the Villages
We drove more than three hours into a remote village area. Two clean water wells were installed and dedicated through the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World and generous ministry partners. These wells will serve hundreds of families for years to come. More than 600 villagers were fed.
The Gospel of Jesus Christ was preached to hearts hearing His name for the first time. We spoke about the root of sin, God's mercy through Jesus Christ, repentance, baptism in Jesus' name, and the infilling of the Holy Ghost. Eight souls were baptized in water in the name of Jesus by the end of the day.
Village Outreach
Hands-On Ministry: Food, Water & The Gospel
Our journey into the remote villages of Interior Sindh was a testament to the tangible impact of faith in action. Beyond sharing the life-changing message of the Gospel, we had the privilege of meeting immediate physical needs. New water wells provided essential clean water, and food distributions brought sustenance to hundreds of families, creating moments of deep connection and demonstrating God's love in a practical way.
Village Outreach
Not a Stage. A Dirt Floor.
What Missions Actually Looks Like
It was a thatched roof. It was faces marked by sun, struggle, and strength. Boxes placed into small hands. Families sitting shoulder to shoulder. Men listening quietly. Women leaning forward with intensity. Children watching every word. And for many in that gathering — the name of Jesus was spoken for the very first time. Not in argument or debate, but introduced gently as hope, peace, and love. Seeds of the gospel were planted alongside practical humanitarian support.
What the Wells Mean
We drove deep into a rural village where access to clean water had not been guaranteed. Two additional wells were installed and dedicated on behalf of the PAW, Apostolic Life Church, and ministry partners. Mothers and daughters who will no longer walk miles for unsafe water. Fathers who can focus on providing instead of surviving. These wells will serve hundreds of families for at least the next 25 years — continuing to minister long after we leave.
Clean water. Hunger satisfied. And the name of Jesus spoken in love.
A Gift of Life: Water Well Dedication
Central to our mission in Interior Sindh was the dedication of new water wells, bringing clean, life-sustaining water to communities that previously lacked reliable access. These wells, installed through the support of the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World and dedicated ministry partners, represent a tangible commitment to the health and future of these villages.
The dedication ceremonies were powerful moments of gratitude and hope, as villagers received this vital resource. Beyond the immediate provision of water, these wells symbolize a lasting connection and the love of God poured into these communities.
Day 2 — Interior Sindh
Witnessing the Dedication of Clean Water
During our visit to Interior Sindh, we had the profound privilege of dedicating two new water wells. These wells represent more than just access to clean water; they are a beacon of hope and a testament to the power of partnership, bringing health and opportunity to hundreds of families. These videos capture the moments of joy, gratitude, and fervent prayer surrounding these life-changing installations.
Watch as we joined together in prayer, consecrating the well and invoking blessings over the community, ensuring its impact for generations to come.

Funding for these vital projects was generously provided by a family partnership, the Searcy Family, and the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World Missions Department. Their commitment has made a tangible difference in the lives of these communities.
Day 2 — Interior Sindh
A Risky Harvest: Baptisms for the Gospel's Sake
In the remote areas of Interior Sindh, sharing the Gospel often comes with challenges. After a powerful day of outreach, we had to move to a discreet location away from local landowners who might have caused problems due to our evangelizing efforts. It was a testament to the spiritual hunger of the people and the courage of their faith that eight precious souls were baptized in the name of Jesus.
These baptisms, conducted in quiet, secluded waters, were not just a symbolic act; they were a profound commitment made in the face of potential opposition. Each immersion was a declaration of new life and a step into a deeper relationship with Christ, underscored by the risks taken to make it happen. It's in these moments that the true cost and incredible reward of the Gospel become most evident.
Witness a glimpse of these sacred moments:
This video captures the group singing "Yesu ke naam" — translated "In the name of Jesus" — because these baptisms were administered in the name of Jesus.

Day 3 — Balochistan
Into the Province
We traveled into the province of Balochistan. There is one Apostolic Pentecostal church in that region now coming into the PAW. We met with the pastor and leadership team, prayed together, and shared fellowship in his home.
That evening we attended a PAW Regional Conference service in Sindh. The electricity went out due to load shedding, but worship continued in the dark. The congregation sang "Zabur 136. Shukriya Yahowa da hi kaaro." My father preached on suffering in ministry. I closed by encouraging the brethren to stand firm in Apostolic doctrine.
Day 3 — Arabian Sea
Five Is the Number of Grace
From Balochistan we traveled south to the shores of the Arabian Sea, where five precious souls were waiting to be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ. Though twenty had committed to baptism during a previous outreach service, many were unable to attend due to Eid and work obligations.
Worship in the Dark
That evening at the PAW Regional Conference in Sindh, the electricity went out due to load shedding — but worship continued in the dark. The congregation sang "Zabur 136. Shukriya Yahowa da hi kaaro." My father preached on suffering in ministry. I closed by encouraging the brethren to stand firm in Apostolic doctrine.

Day 3 — Arabian Sea
Five Souls, One Name: Arabian Sea Baptisms
Following our journey from Balochistan, we reached the shimmering shores of the Arabian Sea. Here, five precious souls, having committed to Christ during earlier outreach, took the significant step of water baptism. Though some who had initially committed were unable to join due to holiday commitments, these five eagerly embraced this public declaration of their faith in the name of Jesus Christ.
Witness these powerful moments as each individual publicly declared their new life in Christ through water baptism in the beautiful Arabian Sea. This video captures the full essence of this sacred event.

Day 3 — Karachi
Evening of Power: PAW Conference
The evening culminated in a powerful Pentecostal Assemblies of the World (PAW) conference held at Elohim Central Church in Karachi. The atmosphere was charged with fervent worship, as attendees lifted their voices in praise and intercession. The palpable presence of God set the stage for an impactful delivery of His Word.
The preaching focused on foundational truths, encouraging believers to walk in faith and embrace the anointing of the Holy Spirit. Hearts were stirred, and many responded to the altar call, signifying a renewed commitment to Christ and His mission. It was a profound demonstration of spiritual hunger and divine encounter.

Days 4 & 5 — Lahore
A Warm Welcome & the Word on Learning
We arrived in Lahore to a warm reception by Bishop Asif Farooq Jamali, Bishop Khalid Jamali, Pastor Ikram, and other pastors. There is something special about being received by men and women hungry for unity and apostolic truth.
Friday Evening — Lahore
Living the Word: Shield of Faith Grand Opening
The evening brought us to the Shield of Faith Theological Seminary in Lahore, where students hosted a vibrant grand opening ceremony. It was an honor to preach on the profound lessons of Acts 7:22, emphasizing that truth is not merely heard but must be diligently studied, passionately applied, and authentically lived.
Drawing inspiration from Moses, who became "mighty in words and deeds" because he didn't just receive wisdom, but mastered it through dedicated study and application, I urged every seminary student and Bible class attendee to embody this spirit. The message underscored that our faith calls for more than passive listening—it demands an active, transforming engagement with the Word of God that shapes our daily lives and actions.
Days 4 & 5 — Regional Conferences
Fellowship, Unity & the Apostolic Doctrine
Outdoor Tent Service — Lahore
A powerful message on the armor of God. The altar was filled with souls seeking prayer and the touch of the Lord.
PAW Regional Conference — Gujranwala
Twenty-five pastors gathered. Several had already expressed desire to join the PAW. We walked through Scripture on apostolic unity. The spirit of fellowship was beautiful — it was difficult to leave.
Gathering — Sheikhupura
Continuing in the tradition of the early church — the apostles' doctrine, breaking bread, fellowship, and prayer. Acts 2:42 made visible in Pakistan.
Days 4 & 5 — Regional Conferences
Moments of Unity and Worship Across Pakistan
Days four and five were filled with powerful gatherings that exemplified unity, fervent worship, and deep fellowship across various cities. From an energetic outdoor tent service in Lahore to an intimate pastoral conference in Gujranwala and a spirit-filled gathering in Sheikhupura, these moments were foundational to our mission.
These photographs capture the essence of these diverse gatherings, showcasing the profound impact of the Word and the strength found in communal worship and shared faith, fostering a sense of belonging and divine connection.
Sunday Morning — Upper Room Apostolic Church Lahore
"The Holy Ghost, God's Seal"
In a second-floor church in Lahore, God moved in a remarkable way. Eight people received the gift of the Holy Ghost — including one sister who testified that she began speaking in tongues while the preaching message was still going forth. Before the altar call was even given, heaven had already responded.

To God be the glory! 🔥 The seal of the Spirit is still being poured out — in Pakistan and around the world.
Sunday Morning — Upper Room Apostolic Church Lahore
Voices of Transformation: Holy Ghost Testimonials
Following the powerful outpouring of the Holy Ghost, individuals shared their profound testimonies of transformation. Each voice resonated with newfound joy, peace, and spiritual power, marking a significant milestone in their faith journey.
Sunday Afternoon — Shield of Faith
1,200 Gathered. The Altar Flooded.
A Crowd. A Message. A Move of God.
More than 1,200 people filled the sanctuary at Shield of Faith Church under the leadership of Bishop Asif Farooq Jamali and Bishop Khalid Jamali. The community greeted us with flowers and public honor along the streets. Acts of honor have a way of humbling the one being honored.
What Happened at the Altar
We preached "Jesus: The Victim of the Flaming Sword" — the classic Haywood-revealed message of Christ stepping into judgment on our behalf. When the altar call was given, it flooded.
  • 12 souls received the baptism of the Holy Ghost
  • 40 precious souls were baptized in the name of Jesus Christ
  • 2 babies dedicated to the Lord
  • 2 married couples dedicated to divine purpose
  • Shield of Faith presented a special offering to the PAW as they officially joined in fellowship
Sunday Afternoon — Shield of Faith
New Beginnings: 40 Souls Baptized
The altar call concluded with a powerful move of God as 40 individuals publicly declared their faith through water baptism in the name of Jesus Christ. This significant event marked a fresh start for many, symbolizing their commitment and new life in Christ. The atmosphere was charged with joy and spiritual renewal as each person emerged from the waters transformed.
Sunday Afternoon — Shield of Faith
Moments of Joy: Personal Commitments
Beyond the numbers, each baptism represented a deeply personal moment of decision and renewed commitment. These images capture the raw emotion, profound joy, and unwavering faith of individuals publicly declaring their new life in Christ, surrounded by a supportive community.
Day 6 — Lahore
No Air Conditioning. No Ventilation. Full Power.
House Churches & Private Meetings
The day began with private meetings with pastors regarding PAW affiliation — long, honest, and fruitful conversations. Many were convinced this step was the will of God for their ministries. Divine alignment was evident. What God started in Jerusalem on the Day of Pentecost in Acts 2 continues today — and we witnessed that continuation in Pakistan.
Nearly 200 in a Small Room
We visited two churches in Lahore — one small house church, then a gathering of nearly 200 believers in a small, unventilated room. I preached on the value of fiery trials. The altar filled quickly. Many sought the Spirit of God. Through prayer and the laying on of hands, demons were cast out and believers were delivered. No air conditioning. Little ventilation. Yet the power of God filled every corner of that space.
Day 6 — Major Holy Spirit Service
"The Holy Ghost Is for the Whole World"
The night concluded with a major service hosted by Bishop Asif Jamali and Shield of Faith Church. Nearly 1,000 people gathered. Pastor Waseem led anointed Urdu worship that stirred the entire atmosphere. Then the message went forth from Bishop Rader Johnson — and the altar call was life-changing.

Day 7 — Okara
Open Air Crusade & Food Distribution: A Day of Compassion and Faith
Our journey led us to Okara for a powerful open-air crusade, a day marked by both spiritual nourishment and tangible acts of compassion. Hundreds gathered, eager to hear the Word and receive the provisions of food we were able to distribute, demonstrating the holistic impact of the Gospel.
It was a truly humbling experience to witness such fervent hunger for both the spiritual and physical. The crusade served as a beacon of hope, bringing together community members for a day of worship, fellowship, and crucial aid.
Day 8 — ALC Education Center
108 Students. One Request.
Walking into the ALC Education Center is always among the most profound moments of any Pakistan journey. We stood before 108 students — young lives with access to free, quality education because of faithful ministry partners and a committed team on the ground led by Pastor Sajid and Sister Sonia.
We asked them what they needed. What they wanted. We told them we would give them what they asked for. They did not ask for toys. They did not ask for money. They said: "We want to be in school all day." That kind of love for learning does not happen by accident. It is born in the presence of great teachers — and the love of faithful supporters like you.
Day 8 — ALC Education Center
Vibrant Learning: A Glimpse into the ALC Education Center
The ALC Education Center is more than just a school; it's a thriving community where young minds blossom. These images capture the joyful energy of students, dedicated teachers, and supportive families who make this place a beacon of hope and learning, reflecting their deep desire for continuous education.

Day 8 — Okara
A Profound Response: Six Souls Baptized Amidst Mission
During our intensive Day 8 in Okara, amidst the vibrant learning at the ALC Education Center and the compassionate efforts of our medical mission, a profound spiritual moment unfolded. Six precious souls, moved by the message and the palpable presence of God, came forward for water baptism. Answering the call of faith, they publicly declared their commitment to Christ, transforming a day of educational and medical outreach into a celebration of new beginnings.
Day 8 — Medical Mission
Practical Compassion in Action
Lifeline Mobile Medical Mission
Dr. Arooj Iqbal and her team conducted a medical camp right on the grounds of the Education Center. Families came from all over the village. It was a beautiful expression of practical service — healing the body alongside ministering to the soul.
Ministry Without Boundaries
Missions is not only preaching. It is sitting in a mobile clinic. It is checking a father's blood pressure. It is ensuring a child receives care she might never otherwise access. Eight more precious souls were baptized in the mighty name of Jesus before the day ended — completing an outstanding day of both natural and spiritual ministry.
Day 9 — Sialkot
Where One Man's Burden Echoes Across Generations
We traveled to Sialkot, historically associated with missionary John Nelson Hyde. Sialkot is considered by many the birthplace of Christianity in Pakistan. Over a century ago, in 1904, American missionary John Nelson Hyde labored in this very region. He became known for one burning prayer: "Give me souls lest I die." To stand in Sialkot today was to remember that the faithfulness of one generation plants seeds for the next.

This was a historic moment — the first time the PAW has openly preached the oneness message in this city.
Day 9 — Sialkot Results
Eyes Opened. Hearts Changed.
7 Baptized in Jesus' Name
Seven more precious souls buried with Christ in baptism and raised in newness of life.
20+ Received the Holy Ghost
More than twenty received the Holy Ghost in the evening service, speaking in tongues as the Spirit gave utterance.
Trinitarian Believer Re-baptized
Believers requested re-baptism in Jesus' name after understanding the oneness message. "God has upgraded my theology. I want to be re-baptized in the name of Jesus." — A testimony that shook the room.
Day 10 — Kasur, Final Day
Ministry to the Bonded Laborers
We traveled into the district of Kasur to a brick kiln community and ministered to nearly 200 bonded laborers. Every time we stand in those environments, something inside is overwhelmed — by the faces, the attentiveness, the quiet dignity, and the deep hunger.
We preached on the rich young ruler. Eternal life is not about possessions, wealth, or status. It is about the sincerity of the heart. Belief in Jesus Christ. And obedience that follows belief. One moment will stay with us always: a mother approached and asked if we were from the USA, then nudged her small son forward to shake our hand. In his eyes — hope. Expectation. She wants him to have opportunity. So do we.
During travel, our vehicle engine failed, causing delay — but ministry continued in homes and gatherings along the way.
Day 10 — Greentown Crusade
Strangers Four Years Ago. Family Today.
The final evening culminated in an open-air crusade in Greentown — a familiar place for us. Standing there, preaching to people who four years ago were strangers but today are family and friends, is something we do not take lightly.
Relationships forged in prayer and shared sacrifice run deep. The hugs. The kisses. The warm embraces. The hospitality. The love shown to us is simply too voluminous to spell out. Suffice it to say — God's people are in Pakistan. He has a church there. And we saw His power.

What We've Learned
Missions Is Both Natural and Spiritual
Missions ministry is not one-dimensional. It is preaching and digging wells. It is praying for demons to leave and helping families find clean water. It is standing in a pulpit and sitting on a dirt floor in someone's home. It is declaring the gospel to 1,200 in a packed sanctuary and kneeling beside one mother at a brick kiln who simply wants hope for her son.
With Deep Gratitude
Thank You, Partners
None of what you have read in this report happened without you. Every financial partner, every prayer warrior, every person who gave — your generosity made these ten days possible. The water wells bear your name. The students at the ALC Education Center are learning because of you. The 69 souls baptized, the 68 filled with the Holy Ghost — you share in every one of those testimonies.
We are deeply thankful. We bless God for every partnership that has carried this work forward. And we believe this is only the beginning of something special. Even as we sense the nearness of the Lord's return, there is still work to do. And we will continue.
