Our Foundation The Apostles' Doctrine The Pakistan District Council, 80th Episcopal District of the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World, Inc., stands firmly upon the faith delivered by Jesus Christ to His Apostles and proclaimed by the New Testament Church. "And they continued stedfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers." — Acts 2:42 We are Apostolic in doctrine, Pentecostal in experience, holy in conduct, and committed to proclaiming Jesus Christ to the world. 📖 The Word of God We believe the Bible is the inspired and authoritative Word of God and the foundation for our faith, doctrine, worship, and Christian living. The Scriptures reveal God's plan of salvation and provide the pattern for the New Testament Church. Our doctrine is therefore grounded not in human tradition or philosophy, but in the Word of God. 2 Timothy 3:16–17 • 2 Peter 1:20–21 ✝️ One God — Jesus Christ We believe there is one eternal God, infinite in power and holy in nature. He has revealed Himself as Father in creation, Son in redemption, and Holy Ghost in regeneration and in the Church. All the fullness of the Godhead dwells bodily in Jesus Christ. There are not three separate Gods. There is one God, and His saving name is Jesus. Deuteronomy 6:4 • Isaiah 9:6 • John 1:1, 14 • Colossians 2:9 • Acts 4:12 🕊️ Salvation — The New Birth We believe every person has sinned and needs salvation through Jesus Christ. The Apostolic pattern of New Testament salvation includes: Repentance — turning away from sin toward God. Water Baptism — by immersion in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins. The Holy Ghost — with the initial evidence of speaking with other tongues. "Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost." — Acts 2:38 John 3:3–5 • Acts 2:1–4, 37–39 • Acts 10:44–48 • Romans 6:3–4 🔥 The Holy Ghost & Holy Living We believe the Holy Ghost is the Spirit of God dwelling within the believer. The same Spirit poured out on the Day of Pentecost continues to fill believers today, empowering us to live victoriously, witness boldly, and bear spiritual fruit. God's people are called to lives of holiness, prayer, integrity, humility, love, compassion, obedience, and service. Acts 1:8 • Romans 8:9–11 • Galatians 5:16–25 • Hebrews 12:14 • 1 Peter 1:15–16 ⛪ The Church & Our Mission We believe Jesus Christ established His Church to continue His work in the earth — to worship God, teach His Word, make disciples, strengthen believers, develop leaders, care for those in need, and proclaim the Gospel to every nation. Doctrine and compassion belong together. Our mission is to carry the Apostolic message into cities, villages, churches, homes, and communities throughout Pakistan and around the world. Matthew 28:18–20 • Acts 1:8 • Acts 2:42–47 • James 1:27 👑 The Return of Jesus Christ We believe Jesus Christ is coming again. We believe in the resurrection of the dead, the righteous judgment of God, the ultimate triumph of Christ, and His eternal Kingdom. Because He is coming, the Church must remain faithful, prayerful, holy, watchful, and committed to completing the Great Commission. Our hope is in Jesus Christ. John 14:1–3 • Acts 1:9–11 • 1 Thessalonians 4:13–18 • Revelation 21:1–5 Our Apostolic Identity One Lord. One Faith. One Baptism. We are unapologetically Apostolic. We believe the message that transformed lives in Acts chapter 2 still transforms lives today. The Holy Ghost is still being poured out. The name of Jesus still saves. The Word of God is still true. And the Church still has a mandate to carry this Gospel to the world. Our commitment is to continue steadfastly in the Apostles' doctrine while demonstrating the holiness, compassion, love, and power of Jesus Christ throughout Pakistan and beyond.
